OK then, what exactly are we going to be adding? Could you make a list?

I just updated everybody's profile with the e-mail adress changed. As I've said before I replaced the "@" symbol by "[AT]" and you shouldn't forget to put the "@" back whenever you feel like mailing someone. No more for shitty bot spammers ;D

I'm quite sure bots are smart enough to bypass such a trick provided they know that "at" (with any non alphabetical character at start and at end) can mean "@". Dots can give them a hint, and even if you replace them with "(dot)", it's just not hard to program something to handle this too. The only way to make sure a bot cannot get the address is to make it much less readable for humans... Computers own us all!!! ;D Of course this trick will filter a good amount of bots, but not all IMHO. Just to make sure you believe me, try to create an email account on yahoo.com for example, nowadays they prevent bots to create emails automatically by forcing them to type a code... This code is not a text in html, it's an image. Right, so the image could be translated to text using an OCR. But the image is completely distorted and funky so that it's almost impossible to use an OCR on it. Only humans can read it easily. So all this security shows that some bots are *really* not dumb.

Yes, but it'll filter out a lot.

There must be plenty of ways of defeating these bots without poor Crespo having to upload dozens more image files We could separate the two halves like this: Email: boggy_b Domain: worms.com as opposed to just writing "boggy_b@worms.com".
