The final must be the last game of the tournament. It was bad enough when matches from other rounds were played out of order, so hold your horses!

since you say the community is great there I've never said such thing; and the fact that I won't play wwp doesnt mean I will play w:a

WA>WWP, in almost every respect. If I had my way, this'd be a WA tourney ;D

Maybe this should be made into a separate thread, to have some serious discussion on the topic WWP vs. WA. I recently had a quick look through the Team17 sites and their forums, and I must say there certainly is much more activity around WA than WWP these days. I've also seen a post from one of the Team17 moderators, who was saying the 4.0 patch to WA will effectively make it superior to WWP in all respects but the clouds...

Indeed mielu, but I also read a post saying that when WA 4.0 is final, they will apply all these fixes and enhancements to WWP. Don't know when though...

There's also a possibility that after 4.0 there will be no real difference between the two anymore - we programmers know how that happens, when you merge changes from one codebase to another...

deadcode is the man who is doing all the new patches for w:a
he has already said that w:a is the game in which he is developing the new features and fixing bugs.
when the 4.0 version was out he will perform it for wwp.
javito and me usually play at w:a, but nowadays the game with patches is very unstable. There are too many desynchronizations and some new bugs appear.

Yeah, we programmers know a bit about how that happens too :-)

Guys I'm deeply sorry but I won't be bale to watch the final. Some issues relating computer availability on my friend's house make it impossible for me to see the game (my friend's bro is taking the computer away a few days for the biggest LAN party of Portugal, hapenning in a few days). I'm sure my spot will be rapidly filled though. And if Big B. manages to record the game maybe he could send me a dvd of it with his donation that he promised. Besides, I'm expecting to see many CWT finals in the future cuz' I want this to last for some years. The only down sight really is the fact that it's Jiggy's last game on CWT... You guys have a really good worming show (make a good dvd, please eheh) and may the best wormer win!!
