Hey there folks, this is my first day of work in Montreal, Canada, so I just thought I'd let you know. My timezone is the same as Bytor's. I have a qwerty keyboard, this is just horrible to find punctation characters. I won't have an internet access at home for quite a long time (at least 1 or 2 months). I could still play at noon though, which would be the evening for europeans. Cheers!

So, what's Montréal like, and is the countryside nice? Are you working for the people who made Beyond Good and Evil, the brilliant game that I'm currently playing? And are you in an English and/or French speaking place?

In Montreal, everything seems very big to me. I'm a bit used to Paris but the height of the buildings in this city often makes me look at the sky... 30 floors is impressive for me. Also, it seems there are none of these small cars we have, every car is a big and long car. The drivers are crazy, they drive really fast. Beyond Good and Evil was developed in France Here it's splinter cell, prince of persia, rainbow six, myst... According to the place where you are, there can be more english speaking people or the opposite. People from Quebec are often bilingual. Their french is very difficult to understand when they have a strong accent. Their english is okay, I can understand them but speaking is harder. People are often quite friendly. They don't hesitate to propose their help when they see you with a map. English-only people are generally less friendly. I'll stop here, this qwerty keyboard is making me nuts.
