[glow=green,5,0]Over the course of this weekend I’ve seen some tremendous use of weapons. Most impressive was Dusted Trooper’s shot-gunning of Bytor in a team game last night. (see bellow). What I want to hear are your tales of weapons being used to perfection, I want to hear thoughts about how to use a weapons in a way that shows you have complete control of it. For example, last Friday I saw a guy kill a worm with 1 point of health with a dynamite. Nothing strange there you say… except that he did exactly ONE point of damage to that worm with it. Can you do one point of damage with a dynamite? What else can you do with the other weapons? Can you match what DustedTrooper did last night? Read on….
Picture this…. No clear line with the shotgun, too small a space for a direct shogun as it would injure both. The ground they were standing on was a ‘single shotgun’ blast thick with water bellow. Dusted had used his first shotgun blast to aid him in getting to Bytor. Dusted walks over and stands on Bytors head, he aims the shotgun directly down and then raises it a little to the right. He fires… a hole is blown in the ground and Bytor takes just enough of the blast to move him a little to the right and thus fall in to the water. Dusted falls from Bytors head and lasts on the original ground that was bellow Bytor. He walks away without a scratch. The most impressive move I’ve seen in a long time. Maybe Mr. T. P. , Bytor or DT remember is a little differently that I or can embellish the tale a little.

lol Simon, I think your systematic use of "tail" in place of "tale" might be confusing some of our wormers from non-English speaking countries (eg Australia - lol Xaos.)
I remember that move like it was yesterday (LOL :-D)
I was surprised to see Simon win his group so easily - he usually likes to thrust himself up from behind :-)

I once saw someone hit 5 seperate worms with 5 clusters from 1 bomb, from long range.
It was impressive, albeit accidental.
btw, how does Simon get green glowy writing and no-one else does?
[glow=blue,6,300]I've got a good mind to start typing in glowy blue![/glow]

Although this post is one of those who barelly see the members's fingers typing in these last days I cannot spend more time without telling you guys about an AWESOME Cluster Bomb move I did yesterday afternoon in an offline duel against my "offline" friend Manôlo. We all know that if we can lift the enemy worm up, walk underneath it and drop a Cluster Bomb right in the wormer's ass so we produce a mighty move who'll take about more than 60 of health of that worm's energy with a not that big blast. It's the so called "Cluster abuse", right? Well, I did a very special Cluster abuse on Manôlo: The scheme we were playing was Artillery. The map was a two-island map. 1 vs 1 worm situation. I hadn't wasted my Banana and Manôlo didn't had much of a weaponry. So there I was chasing him down, wasting all my movement resources, while he kept darksiding to escape my Banana's wrath. So we came to this point where we got on separate islands. He had some tunnels digged (as you might imagine I didn't have the enough trouble around the picture to reproduce the whole map) and I kept launching my grenades, trying to destroy his hideout. Well, right after he blowtorches hiw way out to a hole I had grenades to be falling some turns ago I decided to go for a Cluster Bomb. I was only expecting to cause some minor damage over Manôlo's worm cuz' his worm was only a bit out (as you may see in the picture) and all the frags exploding right below him was kind of an unexpected thing to happen... Well, it hapenned. The mighty Cluster exploded in the same instant when it passed underneath Manolo's worm producing a never seen Cluster abuse taking 51 out of Manôlo's worm!! And before I end this post, let me tell you that the enemy worm's health was not more and not less than... Yap, you guessed; 51... It was probably the most awesome Cluster abuse I've ever seen...
