if u play.. dunno 20 sec game... elite scheme then YES it can became frustrating (but still i will darkside ;p) But if its intermediate come on! Your opponent has almost a minute to do his turn And if he (rearly she ) is so much stronger he will finish you no doubt On white flag issue: Earlier when i've played not so good as i am now i thought the same way i was almost insulted if somebody ran away from my last kill Now i get insulted too... but only if i play with complete noobs so they funk up my trainings by their quitting and i have to restart the whole thing But if i play with cwter, nnn guy or (what is very rear) some other pro player i take it as a respectful decision Sorry for being a bit stubborn i just wanna talk this evening

But it's still true that there are wormers who will never surrender, even though it's a obviously a good idea to, particularly in friendlies. Yeah, I'm one of those. It's neither about insulting my opponent, nor about respectfully acknowledging his superiority. It's just that the game is meant to be played, not aborted. And I almost never kill my own worms... intentionally . If I feel a need to bring something to an abrupt end, I go to Task Manager and kill a few of those processes that lie around taking up precious RAM without doing anything useful . Worms are too cute for that.

I had always been taking surrendering as an insult, especially in friendlies. Dealing a finishing blow is important part of the game, and when someone surrenders he deprives me (and himself) of training this element. I respect players who never give up, thats where real tactics comes in, how to win having fewer worms, not let your opponent kill you but kill him instead. It is indeed harder ti kill hiding worm, you get too nervous and your opponent becomes more determined, its always good to practice such situations so you wont lose control over your emotions in a tourney game. Darksiding and lightsiding are like ying-yang, two parts of the whole, using just one is like boxing with one hand only. Using them both effectively leads to perfection edit: as one wise man said 'it's not over till it's over'

I'm with mielu and Jigsaw. I never ever quit. To me, quitting displays dishonour rather than the other way round, no matter what anybody says. This is because in Worms you just never know. If you have been outplayed in the earlier part of the round, you could just as well outplay your opponent during the endgame. In any case you might as well try!
I always feel offended if my opponent gives up and if I feel that I would never do that myself.
I always go on the offensive if there is any chance of success, but I'm also quite happy to put 2 shotgun shots on any recklessly charging wormer from my hideyhole.

Once I was playing a pro game with someone, and the situation was that he had 5 worms and I had 1... and I managed to win it with some well thought darksiding. That's the reason why I do not quit. And what comes to the crates, I don't like to use or have them used against me. Specially I hate when someone finishes my last worm with a donkey, even if it could be done by other ways, since pro players in my opinion doesn't need super weapons, they win with what they are given at beginning. Super weapons are just a way to make the game funnier, and yeah, sometimes its fun to put brains aside and use armageddon scheme. the more super weapons, the less tactics. And tactics is what I love.

And to be more specific: I almost never surrender, and I never ever quit.
