Interesting idea. I think it was just matter of time when someone would play this card. I wanna hear some opinions too. :-)

Risky, I dont think its going to work out too well. Newcommers dont have to trust anybody enought to pay him money (whoever would gather the money) But still, it is worth checking what do people think about it, the question is - how? many dont even visit forums...

For me it is simple: If i have to pay, i won't do it, and I think some people will think that too. 5 euros for me are like 25 $ not that much but... enought to get really really drunk. hmm, I can have fun for free, why to pay if i KNOW I am NOT going to win CWT?, after all I have played more exiting unofficial games than official ones. I firmly opose to fees, as money bring cheaters (I have seen that in every single tournament that has a cash price), and WWP is quite a forgotten game for their developers, so we can expect no new patches. just my thoughts.

I would be against bringing money into CWT for a number of reasons. First of all, it would add a dimension of seriousness that I think would harm the enjoyment, secondly it would very difficult to raise the money, and thirdly it would put a lot people off who either couldn't or couldn't be bothered to pay.
The only time money has come into it was when Crespo needed money for the T-shirts, which myself and a few others were happy to donate.

First of... Good comments guys... Thx MasterTool: Yeah...When i first came in wormnet i thought something like this exist Jigsaw: Not every newcomer will be welcomed in that kind of tourney I see it as closed club... where everybody know everybody Dario:He he... Well maybe... One bad morning vs Month of higly adrenalined enjoyment MrTP: "Dimension of seriousness" Isn't it what we lack in CWT now? "Harm the enjoyment"Nah... Its not life or death matter... Its fun ! With a bit more adrenaline "Difficult to raise the money"Well electronic payments are easy now... So i dont see any big problem "Would put a lot people off who either couldn't or couldn't be bothered to pay"Yep maybe... But i think 5 eu is affordable fee Ok I have a list of players who takes this game serious. Who plays this game at the top level. Who loves it very much And will never cheat or sabotage the tourney (its just my wormnet experience since june 2005 so no hard feelings... plus i could forget someone) Here we go List of noble wormers : Rafalus Libre Dvorkin SirGorash Dario Johnmir Franpetas Jigsaw Philippo Kisiro MasterTool HateQuitter Wormsik LightSider Frosty c00L Bytor Normal Pro mielu Fantomas Goku plus our honored hosts Crespo MrTP (never played vs him but something tells me he is good ) 23! Already! plus me 24 Every guy from this list can win the tourney We dont need more! Well there always are one or two new guys in the wormnet who plays good We will drag'em in But not more Plus tourney will be short 2 months max Dunno... I just write whats in my head Feel free to critisize

Amazing, it is one of my aims or dreams to play against Jiggy in tourney game! Not to win, just to play first of all! Will be very very glad to see our genius player in this competition again. Good luck in studing friend! About entry fee tourney: i have seen some opinions, all of it's aspects are important. First of all, it should be done in cwt, i won't say reasons, i just don't think it is a good idea(totally agree with MrTP, feels like first of all he doesn't want to see money here). But may be it would be good to organize such tourney just for fun. I understand what Khamski is saying, he wanna some adrenalin, and i would take part in it too with great pleasure. But it should be very good planned system. Ok, now i can see some guys are talking, it is nice.
PS: i would like to see Xao in cwt 2007 too, it would be very interesting to play with him, he is a talanted player and very good man, i'm sure.

Hi everybody. I think there's two sort of Wormsplayers=the lovers of this game ... and the other... Some of "others" discover the game, like it ... then discover another game... The history of "clans" is very interesting to watch... Many clans are created every years ... with lots of ideas and games and blablabla but in these clans, the wormers just post many messages in clan-forum but not play... I'm not like this. I can't help you in CWT organisation, but you can be sure that i'll play my games ... if my opponents are still here. CWT MUST CONTINUE. edit: hey Khamsky i'm not a noble players ? ...

I'm not up for bringing money into CWT, I would not play it if was that way. I have finished all my qualifiers in time, and I don't have issues with losing, the main point of worms seems to be lost; playing is fun - and that's the way it should be.
I'm not interested to play with dickheads who just shout what I do wrong all the time and what I should do. There are some old and proud players who seem to have a need to be bad mouthed all the time. For me, it's more fun to play with completely noobs than these "Pro" players. being Pro is more than just knowing how to play the game; it's also having a supportive attitude towards new players, to those who are not as good players as yourself. This fact has made me have very negative attitude towards the game lately. There actually are only few players that are really Pro with attitude and all; and the first on that comes to mind is Johnmir. And I think many players can agree to this.
For the CWT fact, the game should be played by the players who really do want to play, and WILL play. So, the list should be just replaced by active and willing players, and that's that. I think CWT should not die.

Ty for good words Leo . I won't comment Leo's reply, but i can say a fact: unfortuantly i have heard this words not only once from average players who played against cwters: 'proud of themself', 'unpleasent' and other. I even felt it on myself sometimes. I think we really could be nicer not only to each other, but to other players too. If someone talk to me not very nice there is no problem cause i know you all very well ( at least in net life ), but if you talk not very good to other guys - they are really losing any interest to play normal and join our community.

2RatoonSoft: Sorry man! You are vg player and very nice! My mistake *edit* 2Leoric: In present situation... it is not how it has to be... unfortunatly... It's about things we can do to keep all present active community together... Playing ... communicating... having fun Crespo has a gift to keep all players involved But now he officially claimed he doesn't want to host CWT anymore So... We need something new... And btw i forgot you too Didn't play much vs you but saw yer cwt game vs .. err.. Hunter? It was awesome accurate and fast So you are definitly in the big list

That issue about bad behaving pro wormers is sad but true. Worms should definetly be enjoyable game. Too proud and presumed attitude is not for good I say. So I hope every pro wormer to check his attitude (and make it more realistic).
ps. Worms seems to be like football, game of big emotions, let's try to keep those emotions on the positive side

Yes, totally agree with MT. Let's bring other people some nice amotions at least in net, it is much easier then in real life. It is possible to influence on the mood of a man by net, so don't you think it is rude to give negative amotions to others just cause you have a bad ones today or just cause it is doesn't matter for you at all.

My answer on bad attitude issue is... don't be so sensitive guys! I don't like to be rude with ppl and i like ppl who are nice and polite BUT if someone acts otherwise... hmm... fcuk'em! Just play yer game, master yer tricks... and have fun! I am still a noob in pro community And i understand if guys who are playing this game on the top level for years are not very wordy They've played zillion games vs zillion opponents They just don't have so much emotions that i have So i just feel honored playing vs them And who needs this chit chat anyway I personally don't... it distracts me

I have been an active and honorable member of CWT since the start. I am still as supportive and active in CWT and WWP after all these years and I would like to offer my services in any way necessary to keep CWT going for many years to come. I have plenty of time and willing to put in any effort necessary. I would be happy to host, organize or anything else. CWT WILL LIVE DAMIT!
