I just talked with Jigsaw and i asked him if both players agree on using NNNLuckless scheme will be legit? He said no but asked me to start a topic and let everyone else decide about this to, so please give your oppinion about this.
Also, i asked Jigsaw if both players agree on NOT to use crates at the start of the game, and your apponent uses one anyway (and i mean weapon crates not dubbledamage or something) wil he be discqualified? Jigsaw replied "He wil be an asshole for doing this, but i dont wanna receive complaints about this". So here is my question for all of you:
If both players agree on not to use crates and one of the player does it anyway, should this player be disqualified?

you forgot to add that sometimes you are forced to take a crate, and double damage can be a lot more destructive than some additional weapon. Also crates can land next to enemy worm and give them extra damage, does it count as using crates? what if health falls on your way and you accidentaly take it swinging on rope?

maybe when both agree on no crates just turn off all crates at settings?

If both players want to use NNN luckless yes. Crates can be far far far to destructive (may the eternaltime shine upon you)

I tend to agree to JiGGaw's opinion. It's a pity we play with crates, but since we do, noone can be disqualified for using crates, even if he promised not to. No matter what a big asshole he is afterwards. Consider it as some kind of dirty strategy, you can't forbid anything in a war.

Okay, finally. I don't see many guys who can realize the difference between cwt and nnn scheme (i mean all the aspects, chances to win, changes in game play). CWT scheme was used in cwt's 2003-2007 and worked well enough to use it this year, according to traditions of CWT. Had never heard anything like "i lost that cwt final cause of fucking bad luck" cause i guess it is impossible. Seems like if we had 32 schemes - each player would choose one scheme and insist on his favourite. I think in such situation Jigsaw can pick the scheme is better for the tourney from his point of view.
P.S. I don't think using two schemes is a good idea. Anyway I will agree on any Jigsaws choice. I think he won't take any not motivated decision.

Topic: Please give your opinion (Read 58 times) imho: Since I'm "new comer" here I guess I can give u some kinda objective opinion... from what I've read here and from what I know about tourneys... if CWT scheme was used from 2003-2007 , then tradition should be continued... I think that all players should play the same scheme (same rules*)... It's 2008.. next one... let it be CWT, wtf... only logical thing.. *btw, I've voted for NNN scheme... Anyway, cheers all and hf... Ramone

I agree that if both players want luckless then they should play the scheme... Concerning crates, i have to agree with jig... if one player wants cwt then crates should be allowed.
