In spite of there being no chance of changing our decision, because the new system has already been brought down to code, I want to ask you whether you've read the reasons for our decision.
Neither have you commented on our reasons nor have you (except some of you) given any reasons for your opinions.

Playing bo5 as a group game is ok. Not ideal but ok.

(...)At the end it's only you, who decides about forwarding into PO or not I disagree with axiomatic metaphysical solutions for real life problems.

Nice one, Dario. Really ;-)
Guys, I sounded too harsh in my upper post. But maybe you realize, how dure the job of a referee is, when you invite the community to discuss a topic, you find an agreement with 4 other people and just right after the decision is done, everybody has to comment this.
I see all advantages of Darios proposed system. All I say is, that the group game system won't manipulate the way of later CWT champs. I am convinced, that the effect of group stage system is very low. Though I hope, I can constate at the end of CWT, that we got the first CWT, in which every singel game was played.
If you ask me, I don't have anything against Darios proposed solution, next year.
P.S. And yea, Zemke is right, when he complains about unreflective discussion style of some. If somebody attemps, "that's not fair" I will further answer "oh yea, that is fair".

I still don't understand Dario proposed system clearly. I mean the draw situation. How is it solved? All named solvations appeared bad to me. Maybe i am wrong. I hope Dario will act in reflective manner and clear this up a bit.

Aye khams, I didn't write it clearly. When draw there are several options that can be considered, discussed and then choose one of them for the whole tournament.
When a round ends in a draw One option when a draw happens is: do not replay the round and give 0.5 points for each of the players. Probelms with this: players might not be used to this kind of scoring.
Another option is: do not give 0.5 points for the tied round, and make players play again. Problems with this: players might end up playing for a much longer time than they thought (maybe one of them really wants to go to sleep), and if the number of total rounds played is odd (5, 7, 9, etc) then one player will have started 1 more time than the other one and they will play 1 more cave than islands or one more island than caves.
When two players are tied in points after the group stage finished Make them play one more round or make them play one bo3 game.

When round end in a draw: Giving 0.5 seems fair. Perception of 0.5 won't be a problem because it is naturally a splitted round... When two players are tied in points after the group stage finished:Not a problem at all. My question actually was about tie in a GAME.But now i uderstand that it will be a tie. That's all. So this solvation seems very fair to me. I support it 100%. It is about rounds not games. And it is right. Present system is about rounds too but is wrong. I can say more. Playing bo5 in group and in knockees is kinda static and boring. It's good when games in groups and in knockees actually differ in it's structure. Also i must say that leaving it as it is (HomeAway) is not good.I agree with MODs that we must make it all compact. So Dario decision is very good. Group stage is a technical procedure. This system reflects its nature by that technical approach of counting won rounds. I hope it won't be a great deal for Zemke to implement it. If not then yeah we will need to wait till the next edition.

A screenshot of my admin panel, where I put the players, according the lists of Dario, Koras and khamski, into different Pots. Note 1: Dario, Koras and khamski created a list of 1.-31., strongest player listed on place 1. weakest on place 31. I merged these 3 rankings into 1 ranking -> TOP 8 goes into Pot A, etc... The displayed tourney tool picked then from each pot 1 player and created of these 4 players a group. Note 2: Rafka wasn't ranked from Dario, Koras and khamski, I put him on my own decision in Pot B. Note 3: Wee4Man replaced SirGorash and dsa replaced Alex13.

The list seems pretty fair! Ofc there are some tough decisions like: zoky in Pot D, and Johnmir and Random00, if in shape, could jump easily to A. I've never seen WorldMaster playing and, due to my recent inactivity, I don't know the level of kalababa, koridex and Alex13.

I agree in most of cases too, although Rafka or Random00 could have easily replaced me in Pot A. And Stripe is in my opinion definitly too low ranked, but again, it isn't my ranking.

Nice visual info. Yep this seems to be fair. My pot A a bit differed but i guess TT impressed Daz and Mab by his perfomance in those TUS or NNN cups. Don't rememebr. Maybe in both.

Oh yeah, I wanted to point Stripe case too and I've forgotten. It's always hard to do such a subjective ranking like this without falling in this situations.
