Jigsaw 3 - 2 fury (2 hours, 5 rounds, no draw) I was in good form, so I don't regret my defeat. It went like this : 0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2. Breathtaking rounds for me. They were all very close, as far as I remember. Bytor recorded a video, Javito the audio, but some rounds weren't recorded due to technical problems. Congratulations to Jigsaw, he proved once again to everyone that he's unbeatable in a CWT match. Unfortunately the new double gold medallist is going to quit CWT . I don't have the courage and memory to post a big review unfortunately, this match really made my brain meltdown, and I had to refresh to the bathroom before being able to chat ;D Finally, I must say I'm truly impressed to be second... Bytor was the first CWTer I met, he taught me lots of things that make you a better wormer, and I thank him for pointing me out this great tournament I'm sure a lot of you could have gone straight to the top, so keep hoping, better luck next year.

Congrats Fury, you improved greatly since the start of the tournament, our game was tough and it really could end up differently. Now think about this: I quit cwt, so next year there's noone to stop you! (well, maybe this bird that's flying here and there )

Brilliant entertainment for a wednesday afternoon! Not many people fancied Fury's chances for this match, but he put up a damn good fight and did himself proud. And as for his opponent, well, this man has quite simply dominated CWT: he came, he saw, he conquered - twice. It's a shame he's leaving, although it's good to quit while you're ahead, as they say It's been a fantastic tournament, and I'm sure it will continue to be so. And yes, the bird from Leicestershire will continue to swim in these waters for many a year to come [Why the fuck did I have to drop in the middle of the last round?! I hardly ever drop out of games...]

Just came online (i m at coimbra) at a cyber lounge to check out it was. Congratulations for both of the players, fury for such a good fight and Jiggy for the double-gold in CWT. I dare to ask this: Can Jigsaw (at this moment) be called the best wormer in the world? I think so. I will be making all the updates next friday when I get home and also I'll then type a CWT 2004 closing review (one of those long long texts talking about everything that hapenned).

Jigsaw can be considered the best intermediate wormer in the world, his ability to concentrate (low mistake rate) is amazing. To beat him, you have to be able not to do any serious mistake in 2 hours, which is not possible for everyone (me first). It's a real shame he's leaving, I hope that the come back of the old wormers in the qualifiers (Simon, HHC, Urbanspaceman...) and some newcomers (Nyctalope, Nithril -if he's motivated enough- and SoldierAndrey are very promising) will compensate the departure of Jigsaw. I'd like Crespo to reconsider his announcement that he won't be able to train for CWT 2005, please please please Crespo try very hard to get a new monitor, this year you just failed because you were getting nervous. Everyone who watched your game against MrTPenguin was completely stunt by the way you master the tricks (the same level as Jigsaw for this I think). Chicken23, that's funny, the fightless bird made another flightless bird go into, then go out of the tournament. Not nice!
