Report from today : LaLumière vs RatoonSoft 1st game LaLumière throw nice nades but made 2 or 3 mistakes and have a terrific bad placement in this 2 rounds. Score LaLumière 0 - RatoonSoft 2
2nd game LaLumière increase her level of agressivity_made a pile with 4 of my "asticots" and flame them... The first round was close 2 worms each but LaLumière made a bad moves and fall ... killing herself if i remember correctly. The 2nd round was a nice succession of classic trick but efficient. Score RatoonSoft 2 - LaLumière 0
LaLumière had some problem with her MSN but it seem to be ok now...

2 Mr.Crespo. The Host. The Lab man.*Totally private and confidential* I feel kinda hungry for a cwt battle We have an undefined 4th participant in group G Which i humbly ask to define Plus Group C (winners of which will meet ours in playoffs) is totally unactive Maybe it's time to shake things up a bit and let us play some games? No pressure though. NP if it can't be done now As i said i just feel hunger *edit: Happy Birthday Goku!

Here's my report from my 5th qualifiers against MasterTool today - for those who like to read them...
Opponent: MasterTool Home Player: Frosty Result: 2-0 (I won) Scheme: Intermediate Time: 00:32:06
Round 1: I hadn't played for a while so I was worried I might be a bit rusty. So my gameplan was to take no risks and try nothing too dramatic unless I was sure it would work. I also chose a trusty old double level cavern map for this purpose. I had the first go and managed to bat one of his worms off the map. Then on MT made a few mistakes whereas I managed to pile on the pressure with my shotgun. My cows worked perfectly as well doing about 150 damage. I felt the game was effectively mine as I had saved all my ropes and changeworms a few turns into the game and was carrying much more health. In the end I had a few worms left alive and had no trouble roping next to his last worm and ending his bitter resistance. 1-0 to me.
Round 2: I chose another double cavern just to keep it tight. MT went first but, effectively, wasted his go without doing any significant damage. I moved my first worm to a safer spot and used a switch to bat another worm off the side. This round progressed in a similar fashion as the first. We both managed great moves with our cows but I had the slight edge all a long. I felt MT was very aggressive and used a lot of ropes for ropeknocking without managing to turn the game. I on the other hand kept my defence tight. I made my only mistake of the 2 rounds near the end of this one. I was trying to jetpack from a hideyhole and got snagged in the scenery. I also triggered a mine and the blast ended my turn. Luckily for me MT was already behind the game enough for it not to matter too much. With a bit more luck he might have been able to shotgun 3 of my worms to water but the move didn't work and the game was over. I had 5 worms left with 3 of them next to his last worm and the other 2 were safe. I switched to one of the ones near his and dynamited the whole bunch to smitherines. 2-0.
Good match MT!

Here's my match report from my my final game in the qualifying group stage against Nut today.
Opponent: Nut Home Player: Frosty Result: shown in the end (!) Scheme: Intermediate Time: 00:45:00
Round 1 Knowing Nut's ability with BNG I chose the terrain for this battle accordinly. I picked a tight double level cavern map where he might not be able to benefit from his long distance throwing skills. Nut went first, but didn't manage to do major damage. We both started a bit nervously making a couple of little mistakes. I concentrated on defensive play saving ropes and changeworms for the endgame.
The round progressed extremely tight, and in fact Nut was slightly ahead for a long time in terms of total health. However he had left a couple of worms locked or far away in the lower level and I had tried to manouvre mine to open play so I wasn't too worried yet. Towards the end, the turning point in the round happened. He was trying to Low G jump one of his full strenght worms towards my worms and accidentally dropped through a hole into water. After that I was ahead and well positioned to pick his remaining worms one by one with my ropes and changeworms. 1-0 to me.
Round 2 Seeing that I was about to pick another double cavern, Nut asked if he could go and change his team weapon. He was using Super Sheep which obviously wouldn't suit the caverns. (One reason I was picking them!) I agreed. Reason being that I had just secured the top position in our qualifying group by winning at least one more round against him.
I went first this time. Nut had the worse positions as he had more worms on the lower level. I ropeknocked three of his worms quite near each other on the bottom and then tried to blast them with a mine into the water but misjudged the way the worms would fly and none of them fell through the hole. However he had now 3 worms around the water hole but chose not to move any of them to safety with his turn. I used a change worm and managed to shotgun 2 of his worms to water and further injure another.
From then on I was ahead of Nut all the way through. In the end I had 5 worms alive against his only worm hidden in the bottom level. Nut tried valiantly to hang on and was able to lock 2 worms using a clever arrow and another with a girder. However he made a mistake by placing the girder in a such way that I was able to walk over it with another worm. I used a cow to blast him for about 65 damage but he didn't drop in the water. His final effort was to try to petrol bomb my open worm and close the path but the way remained clear to rope across. I used a changeworm and was able to rope to his last worm and kill it. 2-0
GG Nut!
