uhmm... i think i kinda messed up with e-mail All Admin function sending a message and asking to reply to it. (thought it will automatically put e-mail from my profile there) So don't get scared if you get something unreplyable. EDIT: Correction! It really puts my e-mail Kewl thingie. But i didn't update my profile so there was an old e-mail i don't have an access to so... i'll bother you all once again. SRY

Bobby said:" Greetings! Crespo is still alive, but like me, he won't be playing in the coming tournament. I got your three emails, khams. Did you get my reply? As someone who was heavily involved in this tournament in the past and who loves it, I hope it succeeds this autumn. How active is the normal-gaming scene at the moment? How active is NNN? "
NNN is active as never before! Close to 70 active participants are fighting for the right to be named the best

That's good to hear.
I've wondered about coming back into the warzone. But I'm busy with several things in RL, plus I'm in a "transition period" in life, between studying and working. I'd thought that if there were too few active people for CWT, I'd play, but seeing the interest level and the number of active wormers, I don't think that's gonna happen.
The cup's a good idea.

Ah, go on, Penguin! It's not like you have to devote all of your effort to it if you don't want to, but your presence can only ever make the tournament better! And hey, Khams! Been a while, hasn't it? I've been playing on and off, yeh. I use Mac these days, and Worms is just about the only game that my Windows Boot Camp runs, so it's all good!

To Khams and Betong: I'll see how things turn out and think about it To Jigsaw: I see you're still going. I thought you'd quit. Couldn't give it up, eh Will there be any flexibility in the schedule? For example, if a player knew he was gonna be afk for a week (eg, the last week of October, in my case) could his game(s) be moved?

That's always been the case before, surely? Much more convenient that way, although I remember certain tournaments never drawing to a close because of it...

Schedule will be fixed. Even if everything will fall apart and everybody will refuse to play i won't step away from it.
But...
I am contemplating ways how to make fixed schedule really happen. It's hard. So maybe it will be something like this...
Every player will inform MODs about their playing days and times. And we will use this information to somehow construct the groups. Of course someone will have to play in uncomfortable time. But that is all we can do.
Either player plays or steps away giving place to a guy from waiting list. As simple as that.
In previous CWT all my games except the one with Fanto (hehe) was played in ucomfortable time. But i somehow managed to make it into playoffs.
The one that i played in comfortable time... i lost.

I though you were saying there will be one fixed date each week
To TehPenguin: I quit! like 5 times I did ;D but seriously, this is the only game I played online so I'm coming back now and then, constantly in annoyingly bad shape

I know that feeling. I couldn't beat my way out of a paper bag on current form

Jigsaw: Nope. No need to put all week games in one day. Everything will depend on how group players will decide to play their games. MODs will only inspect this process in specially created thread and make final decisions if some pairs will fail to come to agreement.
Bytor: Yes. A lot of players may quit after failing to setup appropriate dates and times for games. Attempting to agree on Fixed Schedule may even lead us to complete failure. But let's hope everything will go more or less smooth.
