Well just posting to take a note out of a game I played a few hours ago with MrTPenguin. I believe that it was not me playing... On round 1 I managed to take out 3 worms out of of the british's army while he anihilated me whole forces. On round 2 I got better, killed 4 instead of 3!! Well, what a kicking really!! I looked like a beginner. So many bad moves I did... Anyway, we started a Tournament match (the first game was Intermediate) and I seemed to be in my usual shape but that Intermediate game was an example of how not to worm!!! Although I didn't make good moves, MrT was playing amazingly strong and I must point him as a big favourite for winning CWT 2004. And if things keep this way, the bird can take out Jigsaw or Xaositect, cuz' I've played them both lately and their shape is still far from what these fellow wormers used us to. As for me, I think I'm in a good shape, for I think the Penguin game described above was an isolated event of has been my worming shape...

We wormers have to "take the rough with the smooth" as they say, and Crespo's experience yesterday was rougher than sandpaper It is also true that the power of The Penguin is rising... ;D

Our great and glorious tournament starts in late February, and will probably last two months plus, so I think it would be a good idea to get some friendlies played in January. At the moment, I'm having them by chance, but I might well try to organise a few.

This past weekend I have returned to the world of worming online. I've had the chance to play 3 known fellows: 1st game: Crespo vs fury This french lad has quite a CWTer spirit, however he was unlucky on the fact that someone else was before him for the empty spots left open by quittings. He should have a safe qualifier spot, though. The game started quite well for me as I played nicely on the first round and therefore won that one. On second round though, I could be a bit luckier that what I was... After I start pretty bad taking on the frenchie's big weapons, I was forced to make a darkside come back with predictions that would allow me to force fury to waste it's precious weaponry. Late in the round my comeback has come to a 1x1 worm situation with my worm to 100 or more than 90 and fury' s last with little more than 70. Then I made a big voyage to him and dynamite that worm. Well he got 1 point and then batted me to water... I got pissed !! On last round I played efficient moves and got the help of one crate shower the french got. I got only one crate from that shower but the Carpet Bomb I got was enough for the advantage, killing 3 of fury's worms with no damage for my team. I managed to hold the advantage until the end, although in the last move I lamost drawed the game. 2nd game: Crespo vs NormalPRO (Group B) After some arassing from the russian fellow I was up for another game. I decided to go Tournament scheme now and I applied me good ol' darksider technique, giving the russian the first round and taking out his weapons, and then taking the 2nd and 3rd with great advantage due to the russian's lack of weaponry. 3rd game: Crespo vs Javito Well I was unlucky here... On first round I managed to control operations to the extent that on the last moves I had 2 worms against 1 worm of Javi. He had wasted his big weapons (or not), so he uses his last rope and drops something yellow that he got in a crate earlier before. Result: draw. On 2nd round I started pretty bad and sustained quite an amount of heavy damage, so I was forced to use my brain cells to make a darkside comeback once again. And I kind'a did it. On the last turn I only had to launch the SS and make the usual outside-cave-voyage to the other side of the map but the stupid beast was stuck in one of those pitforks caractheristic of the hell like maps. Result: I lost. I got pissed once again ... On third round we both delivered damage to each other quite evenly but when Javi had wasted all of his big-bada-boom stuff I had 61 of health on my last worm, so imagine my stupidity when I see Javi roping to me and droping ANOTHER FU*K*N' NANA on my sorry ass! Oh well, this hapenning in a CWT should be breathtaking. On the overall I think I'm not playing that bad but I was a bit unlucky in these weekend's games...

I think Crespo summed up our game quite correctly Indeed in this round I luckily won, my worm had 72 HP and his dynamite did 71 damage. Crespo could certainly have prevented that by putting the dynamite on my head so that the worm hits his head very hard on the bridge that was very close. This would have done more than 75 damage I think. Well overall I had a match full of mistakes and bad escapes. But fortunately some other matches like this with Konrad and NormalPRO made me see the light, and I've been a lot more attentive to this in my next 15 rounds this week end, and it paid off a lot!! Only lost one round! I'm very happy with my current behavior when playing, and impatient to play again with you, Crespo Oh and same for Jigsaw, Konrad, Bytor, Teletubbies, MrTPenguin, and RatoonSoft, who I already played with. (Xaositect when can we play our first duel?? )

I just met Dario for the first time and played with him. I must say that he is very very good, much better than I expected. Believe me, I'm in good form these days (some have noticed) and I really had a bad time (well it was good but I had troubles lol). Moreover it's very nice to chat with him.
So if you're looking for a very good wormer to train with, don't underestimate Dario because of his CWT results. He would truly deserve a place in the playoffs. I think he's as good as MajesticJara.
Give him a try...

I played a couple of games with Bytor yesterday, and something hilarious happened. For some ghey reason, GeoCities doesn't like hyperlinks to files, so go into the worms section of my website and then open "sheepcrate.jpg" to see my diagram of it ;D

heya all! some days ago I played with one very promising wormer from Ukrane (oh my God 12 years ago Ukrane, Russia and etc. was one coutry - USSR lol I don't like communists ) but still a man from Ukrane was rather good and he said that he will write to Crespo to be included in the quallifiers (there is one free spot). If you come across him just play, he is good. If my memory serves me right he has the nink: SoldierAndrey. Maybe it is better to say that Post-USSR invanding CWT? ;D lol

Yo guys, just thought I drop you a note. I won't be able to play Worms at me place due to zee bad monitor I have. The fact is that I can do everything but play worms in me computer (the reason for that to happen demands much words to explain). I have tried to play a few games with some of you a few days ago and it really handicaps my playing. Anyway, you should stop asking me for a game cuz' I won't play. Only when I get a new monitor, and I don't know when am I going to get a new one. I will play in CWT 2005, for I will make my games at friend's house. I will have almost no practice at all but oh well... I know that will return with a good monitor one day but me thinks a good performance for 2005 is not to be expected...
