The work is almost done! We are still waiting for the result of the Match for 3rd place, but I don't want to miss the chance, to thanks in time every single participant for his contribution for a succesfull tournament (so long the forum activity/interest is still high)!
My special thanks belongs to
Tade, who played a more then unlucky role this time. Mate, I am sure you are the first player who got injured by playing worms! Another proof for our achieved professionality in playing worms I know about your attitude towards CWT, that it wasn't easy for you to give away your chance on a CWT participation. In three years, your son can replace you, if you are again handicaped
Fantomas, Kayz and Ivo for giving me your estimations of participants skills to create a fair/balanced group system. Moreover, Fantomas, chuvash and Ivo, for your more then average efforts to play your group stage games in time. I really honor it. (Though I don't want to reduce other players efforts.)
Cinek and Fonseca for playing their games until end, though their low perspectives on forwarding in groups. You both got probably one of the most taff groups!
BoolC for his quick replacing of Tade after his retirement. You jumped into the tourney with a delay of 10 days and completed your games very fast. Big thanks to you!
Bytor, NormalPRO and SirGorash, the old generation of wormers, who are a bit out of the daily playing, but still managed to get their games absolved. I honor this, because I know about the high efforts, what are needed, to contact players you rarely meet. I was a bit sceptic, if you will manage your games, but you didn't delivered me any reasons which could confirm my first mistrust.
my Group C mates (Gopnick, Johnmir, Kilobyte), though we weren't the most active group at the begin. Therefor we raised our activity during the tournament and finished the group stage very well in time.
all donators and especially Kisiro, MrTPenguin (who actually sended the bill by post xD) and Uber, who donated, though they even didn't take part at the tournament. They just liked our idea of physical trophies and wanted to give us their support. Thanks for the nice donation!
my comrades Random00 and Zemke, we can be more then content with the result of the tournament. For the future I only wish a stronger participation of TUS guys. We shouldn't be a privat club only recruiting from ONL community.
... and everybody else who kept his promise and sustained my permanently asking to play his games in time. I dare to attempt, that we reached our declared goal of having fun in playing with our virtual worm friends and electing the best Intermediate player of 2010! Congratulations Mablak! You should think about a worms career, starting with a promotion tour ;D
P.S. .. and Crespo, who borrowd us his name Seriously, you started a very nice project in 2002! We just can try to safe the spirit of CWT every year again. It's nice that you are still a part of it. I hope you enjoyed to watch some CWT games.
