But Worldcup doesn't know any seed factors, too! Okay, this can begun to be a little offtopic but, since I'm trying to explain for some time, pointing why I like WC system instead CHL is that WC do has a seed system factor, Joschi. WC takes the FIFA ranking before the tourney starts, use it to build the groups and to publish how POO tree will be built in function group classification, so, still in function that ranking (so seed). I'm still for the opinion this system would be better, after weighing the goods and bads. But this is only one opinion and I think this subject it's only about it. Different opinions. There are very credible and professional tourneys taking the different approaches, so, I'm starting to think it's pointless to try to prove which one is better. It's a matter of tastes.

Ok you are right Dario, in the case that it could happen, that you get a silver medal without facing former CWT finalists, but well, I see Random00 is in upper tree, he won CWT as I know and FaD got bronze, all fine and well skilled players. I get bronze 2 yers ago but FaD? are U sure? damn there is no archive since a year.... WorldMaster was also 2nd few yeras ago. Anyway, want to add something: If seriously some people believe that Joschi, who is a trusted NNN member, faked a tree for his advantage, is in my view not worth to be called a good wormer at all. That'd be just plain stupid. But I don't think someone really would believe this, you can't tell me, that someone who fakes a tree can put a cup on his desk without doubting the merit. xD It's not about that... its about changing fine system into a bit worse.

ist because host(south korea) cheated and knocked out Italy and Spain Turkey has easier way to semifinal.. I think its because there is not many very good teams, same in CWT(players).

In '09 edition we didn't use "groupmates can't play in PO vs each other" restriction. And seems like we were most close to CHL system. I don't see any point in this restriction tbh. Maybe it's influenced a bit on PO pair now.
Also i agree with Ivo that reseeding wasn't a good idea. I was just afraid that some big ugly drama starts. But phew... Seems like people finally became reasonable.
Kudos to Kayz for his words. Tbh i was waiting for someone to say it finally.

Well, "groupmates can't play in PO vs each other" only means, that you won't meet him in 1/8 Final. Of course you can meet him in 1/4 Final and Semi-Final, there aren't any more restrictions. We aren't close to CHL, we actually copy it. We only don't practice live-streaming drawing of playoff pairings.

Oh right Koras I mixed it up, FaD didn't get bronze, but he was in bronze match last year, anyway, you know what I mean.

Joschi: > Well, "groupmates can't play in PO vs each other" only means, that you won't meet him in 1/8 Final.
Of course. It's obvious.
You read me wrong. My point was:
If we believe Ivo's words (i am too lazy to check it myself) then '11 edition DO NOT copy CHL system. Because there is no "groupmates" restriction in CHL. And i think we should discuss canceling it for the next year.
I mean i meet my groupmate in PO so what?

For this stage, the winning team from one group plays against the runners-up from another group, and teams from the same country may not be drawn against each other. From the quarter-finals onwards, the draw is entirely random[...] Doing some simple research is really easy these days. So I guess we're pretty close to CHL system with the current one. We just don't have this "country protection" (and tbh: this would not really make sense for cwt ). edit: the quote is from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League#Tournament
