Incidents of bad luck are par for the course in CWT games. The unluckiest thing that happened to me was when I shotgunned a barrel down from on a girder directly-above and it injured my worm when it landed! As for that drill, the worm he was attacking was on a near-horizontal grass surface, and we all know what grass is like.

Tixas 2 - 3 mielu At last, we got to play our second round game. After a looong wait, a looong game: almost two hours. Tixas hosted the game; he pretty much chose whatever map came next, the only restriction being that we alternated between caves and islands. I started the first round. First round: A relatively complex cave, open at both ends, but with a lot of ground inside, a couple long tunnels as well. Both of us made a lot of mistakes, most of them hilarious. At some stage, Tixas fired a bazooka instead of the rope, blasted an oil drum, and crippled two of his worms. Later on, we were at sudden death, Tixas had one worm left, I had three, managed to fall into the water with one of them, another drowned because he was sitting too low... after all these clever moves, I wasn't left with much to do ;D . Tixas used better tactics during the next few turns, and he won in the end, when the water was almost all the way up , using a super sheep from a crate. Second round: Two islands with girders between them. I kept making the same kind of stupid mistakes, while Tixas played clearly better. He won this one as well, with 3 worms left. At this stage, it was 2-0 for Tixas, and I was headed for a quick defeat... Third round: A spacious cave, again open at both ends. Tixas was at a disadvantage because of the position, and he made that even worse by further grouping his worms (OK, I may have helped a bit ). What followed was wormicide in one turn: good wind, favorably placed mines and oil drums, and a good dynamite killed and crippled more of Tixas' worms than I can remember. He darksided in the end, but to no avail; after a kamikaze shot, I finished with 3 worms left. Fourth round: A large island with a cave beneath the mountain in the middle. Neither of us had a very good position, but mine was definitely worse, and Tixas was first; he easily threw two of my worms in the drink using the bat. I had another three in a pretty bad position on the other side of the island, but good tactics, good use of switches, and no more mistakes brought me victory in the end, with two worms left. Fifth round: A closed cave. Tixas had two worms blocked beneath a girder in a small pocket to the upper left part of the map, with one of my worms and another one of his on top of it. He made the situation much worse by spending lots of switches and ropes without freeing the blocked worms. Again, no more mistakes on my part, and I finished the round with 4-5 worms. My thanks to Tixas for an entertaining game, and a fair-play attitude. I hope this review wasn't too long; after all, it's for a two-hour-long game mielu

Sounds like it was a good game, albeit a mistake-ridden one How about that for tempting fate - the day I post telling these two to hurry up, they play!

Don't despair, Fury, for if Jigsaw wins then you might get home in time for the sequel Also, is there a date for the Konrad game?

Can't you watch both matches at the same time? Soccer has lots of not-so-interesting moments. Anyway that's what I do myself

I may aswell break the news that Jigsaw beat Mielu 3-2 in their quarter-final match last night. Myself and the champ are playing our semi-final tonight at 8:00pm BST, where I'll be trying to repeat the England/Switzerland result

Lots of brits down here at Coimbra. Yesterday I even saw some dudes from the british tv enterviewing ppl downtown. I could well be interviewed and say hello to you guys in tv but the bastards didn't pick me to talk to. As for England, well, what else could the score be if Switzerland didn't play jack shit? (i watched the game on tv) Also a funny thing: Manolo volunteered for helping things yesterday at the stadium so he could well be among the crowds in the stadium. On the topic here, Jigsaw seems to have gone through to the semi-finals and for today? Humm Bob you'll have to excuse me but I'll have to cheer for the Beast of Bialystok for that game. WHy? First, you took me out so now I have somewhere to put my frustration and second, having the current champion in the final would be amazing (just like last year) cuz' that will allow a real title defense in the final against an attacker on the champ. By the way, I still will have to know about a few things but this year I want to see the final!! I didn't last year and I want to this year.
