On sunday i was a hoster of a very long, very close and very exciting match. It was a very important match for both guys cause may be a wining of this match meant going through the group stage. It was a fisrt time in my life when i saw 5 rounds (instead of 3 ^^). This game lasted about 2.30 hours but i wasn't bored ( i couldn't be bored during watching a very interesting game between my two very good friends ). This macth could be taken by both guys. In the 3rd round Dario did an awful thing with banana and succeded in killing his 125hp worm (LOL) with NP's 61hp worm. But a round later NormalPRO did almost the same miss with holy (this round was finished by Dario's kami). The last 5th round was full of taktic turns but Dario was more lucky and took this one. Congrads Dario! You were very good both dear friends but one of you must have lost. This match was started with 5 spectators and finished with 3

Fully agree with my home game hoster - Johnmir, John witnessed along with other spectators (with most famous of them - MrTPenguin) very cool CWT game. Now it is all over for me in CWT 2005 , but the game was the most exiting in my life. The report (however the game was so stressful and I can not really much remember) is coming soon... Tremendous game Dario that is what I want to say first.... P.S. The game lasted about 1 hour and 50 minutes (2 and a half hours if to count all between raunds pauses) and it was just best-of 3 game

Dario and NormalPro were in my group last year, and their games ended up being a battle for second place. This year, they found themselves in the same group again, and once again they effectively had a battle for second place! Last year, NormalPro won it; this year, Dario won it. The match was very close indeed, as suggested by the duration. The first round was a bit scrappy (nerves, I presume), but the quality improved as the game progressed. When Dario did that nana, I thought he'd blown it, and that NormalPro would go on to win, but he didn't (eventually!) Well done for reaching the Knockout Stage Dario, and better luck next time Dimitry

(...) I still received no oficial report though.(...) The report was there (at CWT 2005 competition status), and I think it still is.

Thanks Penguin and Crespo for telling that I have a small 1% chance to get throught (but can I really hope that Dani will win Dario? - In a dream - I can, but in reality - NO) Concerning the game. What can be added? All rounds were very close and tough. In the first round I was very nervous and lost the round after some not very confident moves. Btw I lost the first round in Dario's home game this year in CWT. Then events of the game unfolded just the same as it was in our first game: I managed to play rationally and in the end of the second round I had 3 worms <50 lives while Dario had one with 100. I had a holy and transportation tools (ropes + Jet pack) So it was not so hard to cruise to victory in the second round. In the third round I needed to continue reversing the game in my favour as I made in the first fight this year with Dario. The third round was pretty close and very exiting, expecially the end of it. I had one 64 worm while Dario had one 125, Dario had luck to get banana and even put it near to me, I thought that it is lost but Dario's retreat was so bad (he put me banana by means of his rope and he tryed to fly away but he could not). So there was a big boom, I knew for sure I inflicted more than 64 damage beforehand, but I figured if banana can kill mighty 125 Dario's worm. And it did quite comfortably with more than >150 damage. There was a feeling of relief ... just uffff.. it was not the end for me. In the fourth round I was first to move and I made a doble-kill in the opening move, and was quite comfortably leading the game with considerable advantage. Dispite all efforts of Dario to comeback or to bridge the gap, I managed to lead compfortably. I felt that the outcome would be as it was in the first game and even tryed to think about this need all or nothing victory which was so close to achieve. Dario had one worm < 60 lives, I had 2: one 100 and one around 25. He decided to play a hide game using his telereports, he telereported in the other side of the map, I telereported my 100 close to his weak worm. Then he used a bulk to block my worm. I in my turn made my last switch and decided a risky move to put a holy near my blocked worm and hoped that the holy boom will be enough to kill his worm which was quite near to my blocked one. And my plan failed, however the holy took around 55 lives, his worm was lucky to survive with 4 lifes. Then with my last worm I tryed to catch him, but Dario decided not play with me after such a strees with my holy and kamikazeed my worm to clinch the draw on purpose in the round. In the last 5th round we both tryed to play defensively, tactically and in the end Dario had 2 worms, whereas I had only one which could be exposed to kamikazee (<30 lives) and Dario, keeping in mind that he had Jet pack and ropes chased me and kamikazeed his worm and for this time it was the last move of my CWT 2005 Campaign. (Of course I have to play and will play my second game wih Dani but it is no more than a simple formality) I am not satisfied with my CWT performance this year whatsoever. I was prepared inadequately for games against Fantomas, and faced a humiliation of double 0:2 losses, with Dario I played better but could have won this longest game in my life. But I am not disappointed with my level of worming, it is a game and in the game sometimes you are a winner, sometimes vice a versa - you are a loser, and you need to accept it; white spots change black ones, black spots change white ones and it is the game world. It was a pleasure for me to play this game with Dario, I sencirely congratulate him, he deserved to be the winner. To be honest in CWT 2004 we had equal chances to be in the play-offs, but Penguin won the game against Dario and I was lucky to be in the knock out stage, today it has changed - Dario is in the play-off and I understand if to be honest that it is fair - the luck should be balanced and that is why all the best to you Argentinian Dario in your way in the play-offs. Despite CWT 2005 is over for me, one more time I would like to thank you Crespo for such a great worms tournament, good luck all wormers in play-off, wait for my coming back in CWT 2006

status: spectator Very enjoyable game guys! ^^ About the spectators... As MrTPenguin said before the game there was not enough seats for all. I think it was unthinkable act from those unnamed spectators who quit watching that really intresting game after 1 round, when they had just got the seats for the show, and then they leave leaving 2 seats abandoned, and those who would like to come and watch the game aswell miss the change to see this. What I'm saying is if it's crowded and u know u don't have the time needed, then give away the seat to some1 else who has the time (or is more intrested). Plz think before act so we can get more enjoyable games to watch (and play). Good luck, and good spring to every1 (ecxept those wormers who live in southern side of world )
