[glow=green,5,0]My recent relocation to the other side of the world has left me computerless, internet connectionless and with many other priorities (Frequent chants of ‘MUST buy a washing machine, MUST buy a washing machine’ can often be heard around our household). Although I am planning to buy a new computer mid-February (broadband to follow shortly afterwards) I feel that I will in no way be at the required level to defend my worming position or do myself reputation any justice. With this in mind, it is with a heavy heart that I must officially withdraw from the CWT 2004. I was so hoping that somehow I would still be able to compete this year however I have finally admitted to myself that it will just not be possible. Hopefully I will be a much better position to enter the CWT 2005 (Jesus that sounds a long way away..) and will have had the time to get my worming skills back together. But hey! its not all bad news; my withdrawal will give some lucky non-qualifier a chance to play with the big boys and thus give Mr T.P. a good chance of coming first in his group (which of course he wouldn’t have had a chance of doing if I was playing ). Don’t think that you are going to get rid of me either because I will still be reading the board and monitoring the progress of the CWT2004. See you on WN2 in a month or so! Si [/glow]

Hold one, the last time Simon said he 'wanted out' of CWT, he ended up on the podium!

Simon I refuse it!! I, Crespo, as host of this wonderful tournament and monitor of such a nice comunity, don't believe what I just read back there. If you said you will be able to get a new computer, then you WILL PLAY on CWT 2004!! Shape? Nevermind shape. I'm sure you can take out the rustiness with some practice, it's like riding a bike: once you've learned it, you can't forget it. What if you can't match Penguin? It's not only Penguin in Group B. And whilst the english lad's shape might be above yours I don't see you giving the others (Manolo and GForce) an easy time. So PLEEEEEAAAASE reconsider this. How could the once-ESA-cpu-technician-core-CWTer-good-friend Simon quit a CWT?

[glow=green,5,0]Thanks for the kind words Cres, but my mind is made up. I'm not quitting CWT (coz we all hate quitters!), I'm just taking a year off. Life, once again, is getting in the way of my desire to play computer games all the time. You'll know what I'm talking about one day. I may well regret my decision not to play this year but it has been made and you must respect my wishes. All I ask is that I de guaranteed a place somewhere in the 2005 qualifiers when I will be in better shape to play.
Thanks,
Si.[/glow]

Ok then, Simon. I wll bother you no more. In summer time and in the second semester of 2004 you will surely take place in the 2005 qualifiers. Meanwhile, in some weeks I'll see you around MSN and yell at you personally with a voice chat. ;D So it seems I've got the 3rd place in the ranking at my disposal now.
