I have been watching other tourneys sites and CWT is the one I prefer the most, although I'm not a big fan of black backgrounds. The fonts to download improve a lot the site.
Maybe the scrollbar is too old looking. I don't see any bad things except that.
What improvements did you think of?

I'm very happy with the layout. I'd make one alteration in the 'Standings' section though: for the knockout phase, write the scores next to the names aswell as separately in the 'Games' section. This way we don't have to visit two pages to get one piece of information, namely a result. Seeing as the website itself is seldom talked, let me take this opportunity to say how thoroughly good I think it is

It may not have a big relationship with the layout but personally I'm always interested to hear about friendlies between cwters. If there was a section where we could add an entry like :
10/04/03, MrTPenguin 2 - 0 fury, Intermediate, Island
after we play some friendlies, it would be nice, this would allow others to have some ideas about the current level of cwters. Of course it's just for fun, no official stuff in here. And it could be possible to enter a quick review.
But anyway this may not be a good idea, the forums can already do this for us, and I think no one but me would like to spend time writing friendlies results in here. I was thinking of putting this into the CWT web site cause a lot of people don't even have a login in the forums, so maybe a Friendlies section would have a bit of success.

Fury u are a good idea generator!I belive that section related to friendy games among CWTwrs will make sense 'caz everyone can recollect in his own mind the games which were played long time ago. And suck king of recollection will be filled with positive emotions and will make our community more friendly (lol) So I absolutely go along with this idea and I will be glad to post the results of my frienlies if I will have such an opportunity.

The section for friendlies would give me some hard work with constant updatings and so on... I don't think that would apropriate.
A slight improvement for artistic work: check your profile in CWT site, you'll see an animated fancy flag instead of the tiny little typical flag. I won't use the fancy flags for listings or chartings cuz' it wouldn't be apropriated for a better viewing ut it looks nice on the profiles. Note: for those of you who use an english flag I'm sorry to let you down but I couldn't find the english (and scottish and welsh) flag among the site where I found these gifs.

I was not thinking of a system where people email you their friendly results Crespo, rather a page where people type the results, and submit it by pressing a webform button, which updates the page automagically exactly like a guestbook.
So you would not have to constantly update this page.

Lol, if we logged friendly results, then everyone would see how many times I've been "0wned" by Bytor (and others, and I might just cry. Please Crespo, for the sake of my sanity, don't post results of friendly matches on the site. The humiliation would be too much for me to bear.

You know, if i ever had a cat, i'd want it's whiskers to be strong enough to support chilli peppers.
