Hi mates, I have been thinking about one thing: to devise a special "small" CWT training site where people playing friendly games in a small tournament can gain experience in order to do well in The Major CWT tournament. I want to hear your points of view Will anyone be glad to participate in it? The site can be something like: cwt.4t.com (under initial construction)

Hey! I can see that you already have the making of the site and a domain name cwt.4t.com Will it actually be a tournament or a practise ground? I'd be happy to play wormers to practise, but I don't think I would want to enter another tournament. Also if you are thinking of running the site as a tournament, I don't think you should use a domain name with cwt in it, as it is not Crespo's tourney. That should only be used for the main event. I don't want to pour cold water on your enthusiasm but I do think the two should be kept separate. Therefore; practise = Good . Tourney = not so good .

It would be nice if it will be a "light CWT tournament" just to train in the "tourament conditions" No it is not gonna be a separate tournament, I want to make it as small practise tournament to help CWTers to maintain their high level of skills while CWT break, but on condition if Crespo is not mind So Telletubies it will be a practise ground shaped in a form of small friendly training tournament with all-CWT rules P.S. "4t" is suposed to mean "for training"

If anybody thinks that by creating this site I will try to compete with Crespo and his site, you are completely mistaken The reason of creating lies not in making a new tournament and to benefit from CWT "brand" the only one reason is to fill the long CWT break with friendly tournament practise No matter if Crespo is against this proposal I will have to dismiss this site and to devise some new ideas which won't concern Crespo's Worms Tournament.

All worming endeavours are to be welcomed, but I don't think this one is necessary. I personally get sufficient practice on wormnet by playing people who happen to be there, rather than by arranging things, like in a tournament. Good luck if you want to go ahead with it

You may create your own tourney, but it should be independent from cwt tournaments.

Although I'm keen on hearing about new worms ideas from people, I don't exactly see the interest of this kind of website, because I never had any trouble to train... What could be more effective than looking for an available wormer in your MSN contact list and ask him for a game? And about the control of your emotions during important games well... you learn how to do this when playing friendlies! If you don't, then maybe it's because you don't care enough about who wins in a friendly... I do care a lot and that's what forces you to improve! (just my two cents)

I have discussed this issue with NormalPro - the problem's not in training. CWT tourney is running very slowly and rarely and NormalPro want to run his own mini tourney (tourneys) that could be played much faster.

Not really Aqua. If Crespo will be against my initiative to create a mini-friendly CWT Training tournament while CWT break, yes, I will have to work on creating my own separate site devoted to normal game tournament. But despite it my mission is not to compete with Crespo and CWT tournament my aim is to fill the time gap when CWT tournament has a long season break.

CWT doesn't actually need to go faster than this, in my opinion. Most of us are quite older than you russian laddie, meaning that we ocupy our lives with something else than just "school/going home" routine. The tournament lasts for about half year (less actually since it starts on mid February). It's just the perfect amount of time to play without abusing the speed rate (either too fast or too slow). Whenever there are waiting troubles it's due to the people's lives and you really can't force people to play since I don't see any of us travelling abroad to punch the other in the mouth as punishment for not playing. We don't need to be playing all the time to makes this work; in fact, most of my personal friends like tixas, Pipinasso or Semaphore made a good picture of themselves this year and they don't play more than CWT-playing and some rare ocasional practice once in a while. Even with me that hapenned too. In the last 2 months of my life I should have played about what? 2 games of worms maybe... I'll play again when the time comes but if I play all the time that will cost my life lots of precious time... That's what I call "competition-addiction"; I'm off that and don't think it necessary. Personal advice: dedicate yourself to other things, if I would be given the chance to go back in time to my childhood I certainly would replace many hours of gameplay with many hours doing something else... And by the way hope you saw the Portugal 7 * 1 Russia because it was certainly a good display of football Crespo P.S.: If you do advance with it though, I will have to throw same comment as Jigsaw back here "good luck with it going double faster"

Well, Crespo thanks for reply and you point of view. If I have some time to make a small tournament I will make it, if not or won't be in a good mood to do it - I won't. Concerning football you was right It is my favorite sport to watch on TV and as many boys there was a period when I wanted to become Ronaldo (not Portugues, Brazil one ) If we talk about that particular game I can say one thing: to the greater extent it was not your victory, it was our deafining loss, of course you feel very discourged when a small-Portugal on the corner of Europe wins the Mighty coutry with bright football history (it humiliates national spitit, which almost all Russian have) To be honest I stopped watching it after the first half, why should I waste time looking at this disaster? Shame on us Maybe you have heard about a CSCA in Championship League, I hope that this team will take some sort of revenge by winning non-Alenithev Porto for such humiliation for what I have no words ... only emotions... ;D

It seems that this new tourney is for "addicted" people or wormers that have not played in main cwt tournament. There shouldnt be always busy or newbies -> tournament will be played faster and more often. My main advice - dont copy crespo's tournament system - its good only for big tournaments.

Like you want NormalPro... But i think it must be another tournament, not a 2nd cwt or something else...
For me, i'll like to play a championship, not a tournament... Playing against all members, in a home/away games, a dream very hard to do in less than 1 complete year. But if u create your own normal-tournament i think i'll probably play (i'm out of cwt this year) :*(
In fact, your tournament will show the result of friendlies we did in wormsnet2 if u do that with cwt members ... and another thing if you allow newcomers.
