[glow=red,2,300]Im a little confused as to what would be the best approach. Im not sure if I can compete next year, but I may be able to. Its unfair to say prepare a replacement then I say iM playing and they miss out. So guys what do you think?
As you may know I havnt exactly played in 12 months so I would need some serious training, should I leave the position to someone more prepared?[/glow]

If you want, you can. I'd love to train with you in 2005. And even though you may not be very good currently, your experience of Worms is a definite advantage. You've beaten a lot of great wormers in official matches so with some training, my opinion is that you can get back on your feet! You already know what the best strategy is, how to control your emotions, how to be wise and of course all the tricks in this game. You just need to train, not to learn anything, so that's a big time-saver. In 2004 I had to learn everything + train and it took a lot of matches. In 2005 this should take much less time to be on form again.

If you think you'll be worming again more often next year, then stay in it this year, or you'll have to go through the qualifiers competition. Isn't this the approach you effectively took last year? Good luck with your dilem ma

I'm still not sure I can do next year. I haven't played in ages, though that isn't the reason - just that WWP still doesn't work on this computer. It'l depend on whether my other PC is available at the time of the tournament.
