Hello ppl,
My name is Frosty, and I have a serious Worming addiction. I'm glad to have found some fellow sufferers here in CWT.
I had never heard of this competition before, but after playing a game with SirGorash (which he won) he recommended your site and I must say it looks interesting. Can't wait to start playing against some world class players...
I tend to play amended Intermediate, where I've taken off the ChangeWorm option, but seeing that that scheme is not allowed I'll probably rather prefer Pro or Elite than Intermediate.
I am a Finnish national but have been living the UK for 7 years now, which incidentally is the same time I've been playing Worms on and off.
I do recognise names on the profiles list as well and I'm sure I must have played with some of you before...
I would like very much if some of you guys or girls gave me some friendly matches to show me how it's done. If interested, please send me an email or message me on ICQ.
Cheers, Frosty

Hello. In case you don't already know, you'll be put into the Qualifiers' Competition for CWT 2006. In the meantime, you'll have to make do with friendlies

Doesn't the guy in that picture look a bit like a young Jean Reno?! I added you to my contact list, Frosty, and I'll be happy to play a few friendlies with you. But I must tell you I'm really fond of the standard Intermediate - worm selects and all - I think it's the best Worms scheme there is :-)

Had an excellent first day playing many CWT'ers. Managed to win some and lost some games as well.
Also had a great time playing some 2v2 games and had the privilege playing in the same team as Jigsaw against David and mielu. My these guys can play a bit!

Thanks for the kind words. It's really been fun so far.
I would say that the only aspect of the game that I have been behind many CWT'ers has been rope knocking, but after a many practisse games I've learned a lot.
Generally on 8v8 games it's definitely not worth using 1 rope to get 1 kill, so my game tactic is more to save ropes and 1 to 1 tactics than ropeknocking. However I think I'm getting more and more aggressive as I've been playing CWT people.
There are also many interesting ropeknocking techniques I wasn't aware before...
I hope that by the time I get to the qualifiers I'll be hard to beat with my ropeknocking skills combined with endgame tactics...
