I forgot the mail list that had everyone's e-mail adress (I'm not at home) so I'll mail you all with this message later or tomorrow:
Greetings fellow wormers,
The year has changed like you all should be aware (if you aren’t aware of that then I suppose something very strange is happening with you); I, the host of the Crespo’s Worms Tournament, am here to announce a couple of things:
First of all I advise you to take a peek at the site. You will certainly see that the groups for CWT 2006 were sorted out! I have done that 2 days ago (only today I was able to get Internet access since I’m at the University). Due to the fact that many people want to play in and that there won’t be any qualifiers competition this year then I decided to increase the number of spots for CWT 2006, rising to 40 players instead of 32. It will demand more games to be done and therefore more fun and competition (also, more problems for the hosts…).
Before we jump into anything else I also must warn you all that the timekeeping penalties WILL BE controlled my MrTPenguin, who will gladly apply them to those who don’t make the games on schedule.
Now, before things actually get started, EVERYONE MUST e-mail me back with a short reply saying just something like “Yes, I’ll be playing in CWT 2006”. Those of you who think that they may be too busy to play then DON’T PLAY and tell us!
Regarding the rules, can someone translate me the French and Spanish version of the new timekeeping rules??
If anyone has pictures for his profiles please send them to me so I can update them.
Finally, CWT 2006 WILL START ON FEBRUARY 25th!!!!!!!
I guess this is all for now.
The host of CWT,
Luís Crespo
P.S.: Regarding CWT 2005 the final is yet to be played (due to the fact that Wormnet2 is down in the latest days I granted Goku and Fantomas some more days) and the 3rd place game won’t need to be played now. Needless to say, there won’t be any t-shirts this year…
