As things stand, only one wormer needs to play before the deadline (several other wormers are exempt, for a variety of reasons).
I think we've reached a phase in the tournament where personal situations and the limited number of games left have caused the exceptions to outnumber the rules in the timekeeping rules! Because of this, I'm thinking of relaxing the said rules and operating on a more personal basis from now on. In other words, I'm now zooming in from the general to the particular.
When the last deadline comes, a new urgency will appear, and the pressure will have to mount on those who have games still to play.

I don't know if you guys are aware but Lightsider has quit the tournament since he has claimed that he was hooked on other games or something like that. Anyway, that drastically reduces the amount of games to be played in Group C. (I'm done, yey:)) Also, I know there are some games to be updated; the fact is that I just got back to Portugal because I was in Spain in the National Park of the Picos da Europa in a fidl trip. Congratulations to our spanish friends, theyhave got quite a place there!  |

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know I haven't disappeared off the face of the Earth, just been very busy these months. I'm clearly not a contender for the playoffs this year (real life taking its toll ), but I don't want to have the whole group waiting for me, so I'll try to finish my games as soon as possible. I'm not worried about penalties (not much to be worried about at this stage really  ), just wanted to let you know I'm still around and active. I talked to NormalPRO and Vodkoff today, and even though everybody wanted to play some Worms right away, various timing issues prevented us from doing so; but we'll get them done soon, promise. |
