CWT will start on Saturday 25 February. There are 5 players in each group, so everyone has 8 games to play. Here are the dates of the 8 milestones: [/b] [/ul] Reminder: by Tuesday 7 March, you must all have played one or more games! If this is news to you, or if there's anything about timekeeping that you don't know, read about it in the rules section. Not that the periods preceding milestones 1, 3, and 8 contain 2 weekends, so if you can (or prefer to) only play at weekends, this gives you more opportunities to do so. There are 80 days to play 8 games - if it's possible to go round the world in this time, then it's possible to get these games done! The timekeeping rules will be enforced - you have been warned!!

the Penguin has spoken!
Just a brief note: if everyone doesn't check me back about their participation in CWT 2006 then the number of wormers will get down to 32 wormers and therefore there will be less games to play.

Hi! What will be after group stage? Only the first and second go further to the final round? Greets, Horn. >>12.01.: K, just saw the enhanced timetable....hm....will be a hard group stage, dropping out 3 of 5 in each group...in my opinion one more final round would be better, but of course I accept the plan like this... As you should all be aware, I sent you all an email a few days ago reminding you about the timekeeping situation. If you haven't got the email, then I urge you to post your current address here so people will be able to contact you, and if you haven't seen it yet, then I suggest you start checking your email a bit more often during CWT!
I was able to get at all but two of your emails directly from the CWT site. The two I couldn't get were XWorm's (stas0308[at]mail.ru) due to his profile not being accessible, and Johnmir's (johnmir[at]mail.ru) due to it not being on his profile.
The more active among you will probably be starting to get a little bit bored by my intermittent comments about timekeeping, and about how the rules will be enforced, people could be kicked out, etc. etc. I say these things for two reasons: 1) to make sure you all know! and 2) so that when I do kick someone out, I'll be able to do so knowing that I gave them a fair chance, and that it's them who's at fault.
If anyone contacts a wormer about a game, and they haven't replied a week later, then post about them here. The wormers who, for whatever reasons, will be lazy this year need to identified ASAP!

All spots are now filled. They can be set in the waiting list although I'd like to refer only to libre because LightSider was already discussed somewhere else here in the board. Grrr I meant to update the croocked profiles in the past weekend but a few hours after I got home my cpu burned out on me as you know. >

I was gonna email about this stuff, Crespo, but I didn't due to your current problems. Would you like me to do the bulk of the running for the first few weeks? Khamski: "khamski[at]khamski.com" was used in the big email, so I'll make the appropriate change in my mailing list - ty for posting this new one so speedily

DustedTrooper's email address is now "jakewallden[at]cs.com", which isn't the address in his profile.

Hi all! I wanted to answer, that I hope, that my email account will not sort out your eventually email as spam.... Could be a problem generally... If I will not answer: Please write me a pm here in the forum, I always look for.... My problem with msn is, that I can´t change usernames myself, have to use an old version...cause of Win98....so....I have problems to recognize CWT playernames there, cause many people have strange spanish names or statements only, there....it would be nice if your names could be the same like in CWT....or with a hint, at least.... Thank you!
Greets, Horn.

I am now reproducing here my offline record of the current status of CWT. This is to 1) check that I haven't missed anything, and 2) to reassure you all that I'm doing my job!
Results so far:
Bytor 0-2 Jigsaw Jigsaw 2-0 Bytor RatoonSoft 0-2 Saldanha Khamski 2-0 David DustedTrooper 2-0 Electro Electro 0-2 DustedTrooper Leoric 0-2 GeLeTe GeLeTe 2-1 Goku cOOL 2-1 Saldanha
Players who still need to play by 7th March:
Konrad Wormsik
Fantomas (Ch) Franpetas
SirGorash Nut
XWorm Rafalus Voodoo
Dvorkin Vodkoff NormalPro Javito mielu
TPenguin (!) MasterTool Manolo Philippo Glady
Dario HateQuitter Chicken23 Johnmir Dan
Aquaworm GeneralHorn
End of list.
Raven and Crespo haven't played yet, but they have both given reasons (Raven has his d/c problem, Crespo had his burn-out). Manolo has also indicated that he can't meet the deadline, so I might be lenient on him if he misses.
Don't be alarmed if your name is on the list - there's still a week left!
When the deadline passes, I will start a thread titled "Recycle bin" in which I will post the names of the players who missed the deadline without reason. Any of these players who haven't played or given good excuses by the next milestone will be deleted permenantly. Libre (and possibly Lightsider) are waiting in the wings to take their places.

Re Nut: In the light of this email mix-up, I'll exempt him from the impending milestone. What's his email address now?
Crespo: Manolo has made noises to the effect that he can't meet the deadline. Can you verify this (he isn't very active with his email) ?
