You can rest assured that I'm fully awake and on top of the situation! At the moment I'm like a duck, khamski: not seeming to be doing much, but steadily working-away out of view

I hope my group could be awake too... Have seen Goku & Gelete only once online. I have to mail them. By the way, has anyone payed attention on one point: Theres 5 players in every group. So one of the players must play 2 games, or the fift one will be left out with all others played their mandatory game... edit: Found Gelete, and we are going to play today

I lost to Gelete 2-0. I must say that my keyboard failed me badly, thats just not good when using rope and the space bar just wont work properly. That cost me basically every knock, and killed one own worm. but well, it's the game. Next time (with new keyboard) I hope I can give a little more challenge. But anyway, gongratulations Gelete

Chicken23 vs HateQuitter
I played HQ's home scheme of inter.
Round 1 was a 2 level'd cave and luckly for me the majoiry of my worms were on the top. This gave me an advantage the whole game as HQ had to use his ropes up to move up top and i was pushing them down again to use up his tools. It also ment i could knock some of his worms on the lower level and sink them. The round went into sudden death with me having 2 worms to 1. Sadly HQ throw a petrol bomb below which got him.
Round 2 was another 2 level cave and this time i had the disadvantage of being on the lower level. I used my griders early and had to use my selects and ropes to get out of sinkable spots. I managed to keep an eye on HQ's weapons through the game and got control of the top left of the map after a lucky HHG cr8 and abit of a comeback. Sudden death came again and this time HQ had 2 worms on my 1. I wasn't going too high because i knew he could fire a bird over the map and stayed low grider blocking his other room and staying out of kami range. HQ fired a nice petrol bomb to stop me from jumping the whole top floor and shotgunning his last 2 worms. As i waited for the petrol to disappear and after that i shotgunned abit of land to make my path easier. HQ got me with a bird just in the nick of time that only just nipped me by dodging some land. Oh how i wished i used a grider sloped up to prevent this wild bird and allowing me to walk up it. But this bird gave him the win.
Round 3: So its 1-1 and all down to this last round. The map was an open 2 islands. HQ has the first turn and soon as the round starts it looks like the game would be his. I had 3 worms on a bridge and 2 worms below that with 3 of his worms surrounding me from above and below. Below the land under the bridge is a large pit of water seperating the islands. I thought i had no chance but HQ failed to make good use of his starting turn and shotguned 1 of my worms to the other 2 below and then shot a barrel covering about 4 of my worms in fire and not sinking one which also pushed him down aswell. I managed to use 2 of my select worms and 2 ropes to escape the most healthy worms from this deadly part of the map and then knocked 3 of HQ's worms into a pile and dynoed two of them into the water turning the advantage around. After this lead i had to play carefully as i was running out of selects and ropes and i think HQ relaxed thinking the rest of my bad placements would hinder me. He made two very nice rope knock sinks and had the rest of his turn to attack but i managed to keep piling his worms so he used up his selects, espically as his turns keep going to worms on the outer edges of the islands and once he had ran out of them i knew who was next and managed grider block when i needed to. Be relaxed when a worm couldnt attack from inside hiden parts of the map and get a 3 on 1 worm advantage. HQ blocked 1 of my worms but i teleported them close together and grider blocked him. He petrol bomb'd through a gap. I skunked him from below. He tried to sheep through a gap too but did abit of damage to himself and left my 1 of my worms with 2hp. I shotgunned him back and his healthly 100 worm was down to 25. I had 1 rope left and 3 worms. He had 1 chance to rope knock 1 of my worms off the map and then bird 2 that were close together but sadly he failed the knock and the game was mine.
2:1 to me. Some good close games HQ.
