Ok guys it's done for this year. We'll be seeing each other again in 2007, in WA this time. CWT 2007 ended with Dario being the champion and I really think it was a rightful winner. Congrats again to all of those who made it far this year. This closes WWP as the format supporting CWT. Let's hope that WA brings more worthy players to our normal tournament.
As for reviewing the rules that should be done in time. If you want to discuss anything just post. I suppose that having CWT running with 40 wormers should be too much of trouble, this year has confirmed that hypothesis. I therefore suggest that it would be better to return the 32 player format again for CWT 2007. As for schemes and such I think I like the way CWT works.
I will need to update some profiles also. I will try to handle that soon...
Have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year btw!
P.S.: Dario, I should also try to get you a design for a t-shirt soon, however I may be slow at making the design...

So WA it is then.
I think it would be a good idea to have an executive committee running CWT, rather than one or two men. I also like the idea of strengthening the bonds between CWT and NNN, as the latter seem to represent the "grass roots" of normal gaming at the moment.

Things i think should be discussed:
-Cluster Grenade and Moktar power. Being able to kill a 100 hp worm with a cluster suicide doesnt look fair for some, as for me i never saw more than 1 or 2 cluster suicides in a game and consiering that both can do the trick i dont care that much about it.
-Blast Zone scheme's necesity. Is this scheme tactical? is this scheme popular? no and no so its no needed i think.
-Pro & Tournament schemes, some special rules should be stated about disconnections with these schemes cause disconnections affects the entire game and not just a round. But as we are going to play it in WA, with the review feature everything will be easier in case of problems.

Reducing cluster power to 1 star is a must in my opinion, 3 star is too powerful, up to 98 or so.
Also, I wanted to suggest slight modification in the scheme. I'd like the sudden death timer to be visible so that there are no nasty surprises. That would make the game more tactical and less luck based (unless someone counts time to sd by himself already:))

-I do count time to sd -I think that cluster down to 2 is the correct thing to do, already done that for NNN league games. (max 75 damage with power down to 2, very similar to WWP) -with 3 stars I've got over 120 direct damage at WA -I agree on the sudden death timer being visible, but not a must. I'd rather take out crates than make clock visible. But anyway with cluster power down to 2 I am more than happy and don't ask for any other changes.

Again I think that qualifiers competition is not a mandatory thing to do because there might not be enough wormers to play in it. On another issue, I finally know that I am not going to the rain forest next January so I'll be more available to set up things along with Penguin, the latter has been busy with his doctoral thesis.
I will make a new forum topic for 2007 then

Hi guys! I think it is diffcult and not the right way to change default schemes in any way... In my eyes that was never done before and I would appreciate, all rules stay default. Some not predictable things make worms a bit more funny...and it´s all the same to all wormers... I would take a spot in CWT 2007, if possible . So long, to all of you, have a nice christmas and a good start in 2007! Und zum Lernen für den Pinguin: Frohe Weihnachten und einen guten Rutsch in 2007 ! Drink on! Greets, Horn.
