Let's clarify the scheme situation (re intermediate)
In WA, the cluster bomb and mortar are too powerful on 3 stars. When you go into the edit section, you have to re-affirm the following:
-3 selects -1 Jetpack -1 Low G
And you have to make the following changes:
-Cluster bomb: power from 3 to 2 -Mortar: power from 3 to 2
This is now as close as you can get to the intermediate that we're all familiar with. The problem - which is known - is that the Jetpack now becomes available at the start, instead of after 1 turn. Shall we say that in CWT 2007, players can use the Jetpack straight off, or shall we say that no one may use it til round 2 at the earliest?

Penguin: you can't, and must not edit the scheme using the in-game scheme editor. That makes you lose wormselects, jetpack and low gravity. Honestly I don't know if this is still like that with the "cheats" on. I will ask SirGorash to upload this CWT-scheme created with an external editor, so that everybody can download it.
And no rules about jetpack use.

I went into the options menu (in the first screen) and edited the scheme there. I saved it as "[ WWP Intermediate ]" and when I used it in an offline multiplayer game, it worked. I'm aware that online editing is damaging.
Yes, we should upload a tried-and-tested scheme onto the site.
And yes, let's just play from there (no JP rules).

lol, i guess noone will use jet pack at first turn , usually we do knocks at first turn, and change worms the way we can get enemy worms by rope to pile them, so in my opinion - just no problem.

Yep, actually I can't think a situation that makes more sense to use jetpack in first turn than later in the game. I think it should be ok to use jetpack at first turn, because in my opinion doesn't give any special advantage. The best thing I can come up with is to push yet not blown mines around.

Hey friends, It's again just my opinion, but I think the point of this topic is not about making fun about one question, which would have come up eventually anyway.

Ok, the scheme has been uploaded to NNN forum. nnnforum.jconserv.net/index.php , "Case Else..." section , in a sticky named "CWT 2007 Intermediate scheme". Download, check it, test it.

I think we haven't talked clearly about Elite and PRO schemes yet. Are those 2 going to be played in this year's group stage?. Which version of them is going to be used?, because there are many. If those schemes are going to be used, whatever the version, we should reduce mortar's power in elite and pro, and also cluster's power in pro.
