I'm new here. I just found this website off a link of a link of a link after googling worms world party and am interested in this tournament you've got going. I used to play several years ago on worms armageddon until the online rankings got messed up and shortly after I quit. I just got into the game again earlier this year after downloading worms on my friends xbox360. After playing several ranked games I realized I'm getting pretty damn good again, but I couldn't keep my rank up since I don't go to the guy's house enough. So today I decided I'd download wwp and get into it competitively once again. Unfortunately, the ranking system is fucked just like worms armageddon and their were only 4 people online LOL... AND I couldn't get into a game because I didn't have the cd ( what a waste of 15.99, I'm gonna get a refund hopefully ). Shortly after I found this website and from what I see here it looks like you guys have a nice community with plenty of good players, so I'd like to take part. I don't really know where to sign up or anyone here but I REALLY want to get in on this and I should have the cd pretty soon. Thanks in advanced.  |

Hello there.
I am Crespo, the host of this tournament.
Right now the tournament is at a complicated situation since it has stopped in the past months, mainly due to both me and Penguin being too busy too care of stuff. I am trying to get things back on but I won't be able to make it if the rest of the players don't about it.
The best thing for you will be to take part in NNN tournaments that occur throughout the year. The clan NNN was formed by some of the participants of CWT and the standard game play is very nice. Aruond here and NNN we take the normal style to an extreme.
Regarding the future of CWT it will be very hard to say if we can finish this year's and, moreover, if there will be one in 2008. I, for instance, am going to be occupied trying tro have a master thesis going on and most likely abroad my country, so I will be travelling and with no time what-so-ever to play around.
