Gathering email addresses is a drudge of a task. I'd be prepared to do it one last time though.
A problem with drastic action of the sort you've suggested is that a week or two after the inactives have been kicked, some of them will miraculously re-appear and complain.
I'm interested in seeing what Jigsaw proposes.

I send replays of my games to Crespo or Pen(sorry dont rememebr it was about 7 months ago.....or more), but they still are not in site:/(Now I havent this replays....).
Someone must update site; group A (mistake with Joschi/Nachwein game), Group E : I am not sure but I think the play some more games (John tell me something about game against Optymus, but maybe they didnt play it...I dont know lol).

What are you talking about... just choose one person which would decide who goes out of the group stage and start playoffs, that's really not so much to do, for a start. That cant be me because I do not know who is currently active. Myself, I've already got an internet connection now so I'm ready to play.

In my opinion CWT play off should start now!
Jigsaw, NormalPro, AquaWorm, Antares, X worm, Misrac, Cool, Khamski,Tpen, Johnimir, Koras, Fantomas, Sirgorash, Dario, Rafalus, Crespo = 16 top players. So i didn't see any problem!
If NormalPRO,Rafalus,Aqua or other unactive wormer which I didnt saw since ages:P or someone other didn't play his game till end of 2007; Bytor should take this spot because he is always mega activ and just can't arrange game against unactive Leoric.If there will be more free spots we can choose best 8!

I've got an idea, how about we choose one day around xmas break, then all who is supposed to play show up (on msn) and we finish it like a one-evening tournament? Others who are active but didn't do too well should show up also, then we would see about arranging pairs and stuff.
Koras, if you have time try to contact as many people as you can, just ask if they care to finish the tournament.

I normally travel to visit relatives during Chirstmas and New year and I assume many others do it as well, so maybe doing it all in one evening wouldn't be that good.
I wanted to do what you guys say here: choose top 16 and go straight to the playoffs, but Penguin didn't seem to be convinced about such desicion and I wouldn't aprove of doing anything without Penguin's agreement.

good idea Jig.... I do it since year:P when meet somebody at ag(from unactive CWT' meet only GHorn and Saladaha....at least Saladaha said something). I think players like Leoric, RatoonSoft,Konrad, Vodkoff, Gelete(?), GHorn... just dont wanna finish his games(ban for next year:D). Group H is....really weaird; when I asked Saladaha why he didnt play any games he ansver "I weait till someone ask me " when 4 players 'weait' we got unactive group(Rafalus said me he can play at chirstmas time). As I said idea is good but .....this unactive people must play this games not me, U and Daz. I can play against 'Vodkof'; unfortunately he is offline at msn since 10 months><. |
