Hey, my good old worming friends, how's it going? Although I haven't been playing Worms for what seems like a century, I've been checking back here from time to time. I'm a bit sad to see the tournament grind to a halt like this; feeling a bit guilty too... for giving up playing and all. Anyway, I do hope you guys will manage to get it back up to speed, and, who knows, I might even install WA to take it out for a ride on WormNet. My main reason for posting, besides saying hello, was to ask if anybody's actually using the shorthand worms-cwt.com domain that we set up three years ago. I've recently got a notification from the registrar company that the domain is going to expire on Jan 25th, so I need to renew it. I'll be more than happy to pay the (small) fee to extend the domain registration - after all, I regard it as my duty  - but then again, there's no point in doing it if nobody's using it. Just let me know. Happy worming, everyone, and... get it back on track, okay? |

yeah bad times now:/ too many players dont wanna play his games.......anyway I hope when play off starts evrything will be ok.
About worms-cwt.com when I copy it too google its still working good^^.

Yeah, it's normal for it to be working, since it hasn't expired yet.
You know what, I ran the google search myself and saw that sur une autre site de Worms, Monsieur ThePingouin a indiqué ce lien comme une alternative valide pour CWT ;D, so I'll renew it for another year anyway.
Good call with the google search, koras, I should have done that myself in the first place, cheers.
Just note that it may stop working for a day or two at some point, since I'm going to transfer it to the registrar I'm currently using (to make it easier to manage), and that may introduce some downtime.

Salut Bogdan! Nice to see i'm not the only Romanian around here...if you were in shape/active we could play in 2vs2 tournament organized by my clan mates from NNN.  ...and CWT will survive |

hello there mielu! long time no see... I don't think it's necessary for you to renew the thing all over again. Since the tournament will probably move to another place perhaps it s better to get back using the old adress anyway. wormstournament.com.sapo.ptP.S.: which we actually do since the worms-cwt.com domain triggers a link to the old domain. good to see you around |

each time I want to enter cwt site I type 'wormstournament' in google and enter from there, am I complicating my life too much? 2vs2 tournament?  edit: password on NNN site! |

I'm afraid I'd only be a liability in a 2 vs 2 game right now. Who knows, maybe things will change in the future, but not the immediate future. When that will happen, I do hope there will be a CWT to come back to. If I can help with anything to make that happen, I certainly will. |

Too late, I renewed it already . I figured if there were search engine links referencing it, it would be a good idea to keep it for now. If the site moves to a different host, we can very easily make it point to the new location, and keep it as an easier-to-remember-and-type shortcut. Cheers! |

It is simpler to type "w" and then select the first adress in the list that appears in the adress bar  |

Since people are dropping in in this thread, I might as well say hello!
Unfortunately, I'm using a Mac at uni these days, so my worming is restricted to holiday periods. Sorry I can't be around more, I'd still love to be part of the tournament.
