Here's the review of Manolo's first 2 games against AmO in the newcomers tourney made by himself and Tiago. This is being posted by me, cuz' I had to translate the text from portuguese to english. All the sentences in square brackets are notes made by me.
"GAME 1
The game started with an huge sense of expectaction from both players and spectators ... For Manolo this would be his first challenge inside the world of the Crespo's Worms Tournament and also his first tournament game ever.
Manolo choosed Intermediate and tuned the self-placement instead of the random placement. He started pretty confident and his trust was gradually rising due to some mistakes by AmO in the closing parts of the rounds, like in the end of round 1 where there were 2 of AmO's worms against 1 single warrior of Manolo. Some severe mistake were made by AmO and Manolo took the round. In the second round, Manolo went totally powerful and wiped the floor with AmO's worms leaving 4 worms alive in the end. Home game went for Manolo with a 2-0 score.
GAME 2
Now it was home game for AmO and, therefore, he selected the scheme. The hard-hearted Blast Zone was selected, which made Manolo shake a bit cuz' he is not very used to BZ games. Now things seemed a bit harsh but it was AmO's time to pick scheme and so BZ it was...
This time things started to look bad for Manolo right from the beginning, also due to AmO making less mistakes than in the previous game. After a gradual comeback it was 1 worm vs 1 worm. Ropes were out by now so the strike war begun, and the end the Twin Towers fell (the worm's name)... Round 1 for AmO. Starting Round 2, Manolo took a deep breath and focused on the game. The high point in this round was Manolo's quake which wasted 3 worms of AmO's team. In the end, lady victory smiled over the portuguese, making a stressful 1-1. Each of them wanted the 3 points badly. Starting the final round, AmO started better and got to a 3 x 1 worms situation. It seemed things were about to end very soon.
