Hello, guys!
Let me say some words about my way to the final and about all I saw here:
The way to the final:
Group stage:
The group stage was my “warm” stage. I wouldn’t say I was noob though and Kilo’s and Rafka’s wins vs me were totally deserved. I want to notice that Rafka made me badly in the group, lol. He didn’t leave me a chance to get the first place in the group (his play was like “go and train, you, noob” to me, and I joined ONL, what helped me a lot later). I say again, nice playing, friend, I still remember that game!
Playoffs:
Antares vs Johnmir
Well, it is not a secret that we usually play noob vs each other. And I blame Antares for that (haha!), he concentrates on tactics very much, hide his worms, blocking and skunking me – as a result I try to play as aggressive as possible, start to miss, he starts to miss too. Well it is such a mess
. But in fact, those games are really exciting, I like it, I rather like emotions I get from the game vs him then my gameplay lol.
I want to add that Antares is a nice tacticier, I like his style, it is really unusual, and clever one. Noone else plays like that. My respect, friend!
Wriggler vs Johnmir
Just before Wriggler won vs Kinslayer in CWT, I lost to Kinslayer in the league. I was actually surprised and came very concentrated to the match. But it was not his day! All my plan for the game was to play stable, but nothing works for Wriggler this day. Too many mistakes, and 3-0 loss. Bl friend, I’m sad you didn’t manage to show better play, I know you used to play far better.
Joschi vs Johnmir
I have to admit that personally it was the hardest match for me. I still realize that any of my miss could cause the loss. I’m very surprised I didn’t commit that miss – that’s my luck lol. Very solid playing from Joschi, almost no miss. I’m glad to see such playing on CWT!
Terror vs Johnmir
It is really hard to imagine me more concentrated. I was preparing mentally for that game. Before the match I forgot about all I played before and all I knew before. The reason was that I played awful these days. So, before the match I tried to forget that I could miss, lol. As a result I gave a stable and well planned game. Not my best one. But still too stable. In my opinion Terror didn’t manage to “catch” his play. He wasn’t full of those cool and impressive ideas he used to be full of. Anyway (as I said at his NNN profile
), I still love his playstile, love his mood and spirit! I’m very happy we played with you in the final, I dreamed about it since a very long time!
About those who didn’t give us a battle this year:
These are two my friends and talented wormers: Jigsaw and Dario. You didn’t take part this year (different reasons, but still) and ofcouse we all feel it. Anyway, it is not the last CWT and not the last time we 3 play it!
About our dear host, Khamski:
I want to thank you not just for organizing the tourney, I want to thank you, friend, for that brave try in organizing it the way you think is the best! I respect your stable leading through all the tourney, I hope others will support me! You took a hard job, people often didn’t get your decisions but I still hope this experiment will give us a lot of experience and influence on next years CWT the best way! Nice start! Thank you very much, and would be nice to see you in the players list next year!
Some other funny facts:
The funny thing is that I lost all the ONL games I played right before playoffs CWT matches. Lol, it helped me to concentrate a lot in playoffs. I want to thank all the guys kicked my ass those days, lol…
Some of you know I like forecasts and I made a prediction for this year CWT playoffs (I missed only 3 games).
So far, I put 50/50 in Terror vs Koras, Johnmir vs Antares, Johnmir vs Joschi, Johnmir vs Terror/Koras (1/8 chances? lol, lucky way for me!)
At the end I want to congradulate and to shake hands of Terror and Koras, who got the 2nd and the 3rd places! Thank you all who take part in the tourney for that great and exciting time! I hope to meet you all next year! Good luck and have fun in games!
