The purpose of this is not to start a war about witch scheme is better we all have our opinions. But to ask this question U need to know why I never hosted an Elite scheme game before. I don't care for the Elite scheme. In my opinion 1 round victory's Give a huge advantage to who gets first turn, also a single crate plays a bigger role can loose or win a game, not just a round like other schemes. So I never before hosted an Elite scheme game and only play it when someone else is hosting As it turns out 2 of my group stage games are going to be played on Elite scheme so I was going to brush up on it before the games are scheduled. To my surprise Elite is not listed as a scheme in my WWP game. I reinstalled the game thinking maybe it got deleted at some point but it still is not there.
Is Elite a default WWP installed scheme or is it something players carried over and made a scheme based on the Elite channel?

Elite scheme was created by team17 (I'm not fully sure though, go ahead and correct me chicken:)) apparently after wwp came out, wa newest patch adds elite to the default schemes list, therefore I'm sure that if there was a patch for wwp it would add elite too. I dont think there's a problem with hosting elite outside the elite channel so each player will get to start first. Poor you Bytor, will have to learn how to darkside, yuck;)

it's a pretty common scheme, it should be downloadable from somewhere, so you can play it offline as well. We shall play it best of three just like in intermediate. We can simply rehost or click on play again and keep the score in the back of our head

Elite was invited by T17 becuase the elite channel exists in wwp (used to be in wa) with the other leagues that you could earn a red flaming bar (when wa had ranks because it also had the elite channel, pro channel, worms am, bng league, rope league, t17 league) Back then anything goes was the rules for rope and bng league. Some interesting games could be played
I think me and HHC are the only one olds enough to remember the ranks round here and how they worked but since i first started playing wa online many years ago elite existed and it was a place for pro proleague players (all the other channels were u could win a red flaming bar required 2 star rank, im not sure if elite was the same or u had to of gotten 3 stars before u could play) to battle it out and try to win a red flaming bar.

Hehe, old enough, LOL. I've been playing since before worms even came onto the Internet. But your right Chicken the ranking was fun, and it is a shame some mindless morons hacked the system and Team17 had to stop it.

Elite, like WormsPro, doesn't come with the game - you have to either go to the channel or download the scheme in order to play it. I made my own copies of the channel schemes using Annelid's editor.
To elaborate on what HHC said, all CWT group games are best of three, irrespective of the scheme.
When I first came online (about 3 years ago) it wasn't long before I started playing elites, and it was my favourite scheme for a while. Nowadays though, I play mostly intermediate, aswell as other normal schemes from time to time.
Oh, and another thing, I suggested to Crespo that the rules should say that all elites should be played in the elite channel, primarily so that rope-knocking can't be done (by convention, it's illegal in elite), but he said he was happy for rope-knocking to be done in any CWT game. I just thought I'd mention this.

indeed, rk is illegal in elite scheme but not in the others. The only problem in elite channel is that u cant set the number of rounds to 2 so a chance of never getting a first turn. Placing the worms can make this fairer in the sence that u wont get a bad pile at the start like intermediate

Before I was Teletubbies, they started after Worms 2 (Worms 2 was the first Internet enabled version of Worms) I was SlugRats (A bit like Wormy RugRats)
Chicken if I remeber correctly we played Elite in last years tourney. We played in Elite channel and each round was played as a new game, but we skipped goes so that the correct wormer started first in each round.
